AIKO Solar Panels – High-Efficiency, Premium Solar Modules

AIKO is a leading solar module manufacturer known for pushing the limits of solar technology. Their panels combine high power, modern designs, and advanced cell tech — built for residential, commercial & utility scale installations.

Who is AIKO

Shanghai AIKO Solar Energy Co. Ltd is a company that makes monocrystalline & bifacial solar modules and high-efficiency cells.

AIKO focuses on innovation: N-type ABC (All-Back-Contact) cells, dual-glass designs, and strong resistance to power losses from shade, heat, and mechanical stress.

AIKO Panel Series & Wattage Types

Here are the main AIKO module series and their power & application ranges:

Neostar Series

Designed for residential rooftops.

Wattages around 440-470W.

Offered in variants like mono-glass and dual-glass, all-black finishes, and efficient cell technologies.

Comet Series

Targets commercial & industrial rooftop uses.

Higher power outputs: about 600-630W, to optimize rooftop space and speed up payback.

Large-format bifacial panels for utility scale or large C&I projects.

Power ratings around 620-640W.

Built for maximizing energy yield, especially in installations that can use both front and back side of the panel effectively.

ABC / “All-Back-Contact” Technology

This is AIKO’s cell tech used across many of their panel lines. Features include: no front metal grid (so full sunlight capture), improved reliability, low risk of micro-cracks, better performance under partial shading, and better temperature behavior.

Key Technical Highlights & Advantages

Efficiency up to ≈ 23.6 % in some residential Neostar panels.

Panels include dual-glass designs (for durability, moisture resistance, etc.).

Power tolerances are tight (e.g. 0 to +3 % in many models).

Modules built to handle environmental stresses: good low temperature coefficients, resistance to shading losses, micro-crack resistance.

Compact module areas in many residential units, making them more roof-space efficient.

What to Keep in Mind

Higher wattage panels (600W+) tend to be larger and heavier — ensure roof structure and mounting design can support them.

Dual-glass panels are sturdier and more durable, but might cost more or weigh more.

Check compatibility with inverter DC voltage/current ratings. Some AIKO panels have high Voc or Imp values, so the rest of the system must match.

Warranty terms are generally good, but always verify product and performance warranty for your country or supplier.
